Every woman of the parish is a member and is invited to attend our monthly meetings, which are held the first Friday of the month at 9:00 a.m. Our purpose is to foster spiritual growth, to promote Christian living, to provide candles, wines, altar breads and other items used at the altar for the sacrifice of the Mass. Also to provide the opportunities for friendship and community spirit.
Throughout the years as an organization the Altar Society has been involved in many fundraisers. The major events now are the dessert table for the Fish Fry during the Lenten season and Salad Luncheon in September.
